This is the larger, early version that was used on model a and aa lamps L316 L319 arc lanterns. This one does work and holds pressure when I put an o-ring around the lead seal.

You can either do the same or melt and re-flow lead to seat it on your fount. The original early part number was Na 64 1/2. These are very hard to find in any condition.
