Details:

Has the green rising sun, Pyrex, made in USA globe. Ventilator is in very good condition with no dents and corrosion free. All in all, a very nice lantern and piece of American history. What makes them unique is that they are mostly made of steel as the brass and nickel was needed for war.

I will purge all the fuel and pack carefully, so this can be shipped most anywhere. And collar are rust free. Stamped 3-8 these were only produced between 1942 thru 1944. Tested and in working order, it starts easily, runs bright, shuts down properly.

It is also stamped USA on the bottom just like military lanterns. Burner cage, burner parts etc. There is one small chip. These were made primarily for the civilian population.

Proudly made in the USA. I cleaned and removed rust from each part, inside the fount out. Decal has some tears/scratches see pics. Most of the nuts, burner tubes, mixing chamber, fount, pump assembly, and even vent nut are made from steel.

Which are getting harder to find. There is some paint loss due to scuffs and scratches as shown in photos.
